Occupational Therapist - PRN Days

JOB PURPOSE:

Providing occupational therapy for a designated group of patients, including evaluations, modalities, and treatments. Responsible for the care of patients treated by certified occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

New Graduates of Occupational Therapy program eligible

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

Current GA License as Occupational Therapist or current compact privileges in Georgia.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

BLS through AHA required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Performs patient evaluations.

2.Establishes treatment goals.

3.Performs patient treatments.

4.Measures quality and outcomes.

5.Educates patient, family, significant others and other medical personnel.

6.Completes documentation.

7.Communicates with others.
