Occupational Therapist - Part Time

POSITION: Occupational Therapist - Part-Time

DESCRIPTION: This position is in a school setting, working with students, staff, and parents. You would be responsible for IEP/ETR meetings, evaluations, and writing of IEPs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Successful completion of accredited Occupational Therapy program,
• Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license and Ohio Department of Education pupil services credential,
• Valid driver's license,
• Occupational Therapy experience working with children,
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards, ethical/legal responsibilities, and policies related to occupational therapy in schools, including ODE requirements,
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret assessment results and use the results to develop treatment/intervention plans and classroom strategies that are appropriate to the educational goals of the student and within the student's least restrictive environment,
• Strong organizational skills to keep accurate, confidential records and meet timelines,
• Prefer experience working in a school setting with school personnel, students, and families,
• Ability to work with a multitude of individuals (students, teachers, administrators, parents).
