Responsible for observing, planning, organizing, administering, documenting and evaluating clients in order to coordinate specialized treatment programs for individuals who have physical, psychological or developmental problems. Directs therapeutic goal directed programs for clients who require specialized assistance in learning skills to enable them to lead independent, productive, and satisfying lives. Oversees the work of students and volunteers, following one year of clinical experience.

To guide client's rehabilitation to successful, functional outcomes. Must possess analytical abilities and sound Occupational Therapy knowledge necessary for the effective formulation of treatment plans, implementation of care and appropriate documentation regarding patient's condition.
Abilities: Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, various locations, sometimes on short notice.
Environmental Conditions: Potential exposure to fumes, dust, gases, and odors.
Frequent changes in temperature may occur. Possibility of exposure to communicable diseases.
