Select Physical Therapy is seeking an outpatient Occupational Therapist (Ortho, Lymphedema, Oncology) in West Hills, CA

Our West Hills outpatient therapy center continues to expand, and we are seeking a compassionate and driven licensed occupational therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences on a full time basis. We are looking for a therapist to treat hand therapy patients full time, however our clinics currently treat a diverse patient casemix, including ortho and some neuro, and are looking to expand specialty services within cancer rehabilitation, lympedema and pelvic health. Candidates must be interested in cancer rehab and lymphedema, with a minimum of 1 year experience treating lymphedema. Lymphedema certification will be supported for those not already certified, and must be completed within 12 months of employment. For candidates with interest or experience in pelvic health, this position also provides the opportunity to grow your skills in this specialty area.

Compensation: Salary range $85,000 - $100,000/year commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how occupational therapists may practice and whom occupational therapists may supervise.

• Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.

• Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom occupational therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.

• Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.

• Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy

• Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice

• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required

• At least 1 year experience treating lymphedema

Preferred Qualifications:

• CLT or CHT license

• Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience (student rotations considered)

• 1 year of Lymphedema interest/experience (student rotations considered)

• Pelvic health interest/experience

• Outpatient orthopedic experience (student rotations considered)
