Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
For the 24-25 School Year
Position Summary: The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will provide occupational therapy and consultation to meet students' educational needs. The COTA will communicate with the Occupational Therapist, train staff and parents on the use of materials and equipment, and provide direct occupational therapy services to eligible students within the district.
Basic Requirements:
1.Must obtain and maintain a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Certificate.
2.Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.
3.Ability to work independently.
4.Excellent human relations skills.
5.Knowledge of office equipment (computers, copiers, fax machines, and related items).
6.Follow federal, state, and local legal guidelines and Board policies and procedures.

Salary: Starting at $22.93 with no previous experience. The district will provide credit for up to 10 years of experience + 1 for every 2 after that. 24-25 Support Staff Salary Schedule
