RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide itinerant occupational therapy services to students who are disabled and need this therapy as a related service to benefit from their educational environment.
Meet with families in their homes.
Serve as a member of interdisciplinary child study teams (e.g. DAPE teachers, PTs, PI teacher, special ed teachers) and participates in meetings for the purpose of identification, assessment, ongoing evaluation, development of IEPs, follow-up, and termination of service.
Develop and implement direct and indirect services based on individual evaluation and the IEP.
Ensure that all students served receive required due process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Registered as an occupational therapist (national registration and Minnesota)
Minimum of bachelor's degree required
Pediatric work experience preferred
Knowledge of work assessment helpful
