The College of Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences (CCRHS) seeks an experienced and entrepreneurial-minded pediatric occupational therapist for a unique full-time opportunity to practice in an interdisciplinary, community-based setting in Elizabethton, TN.

Responsible to the Executive Clinic Director at the Nave Center. This is an exciting ground-level opportunity to develop and grow occupational therapy services in an interdisciplinary outpatient environment with the opportunity for increasing leadership responsibilities.

The candidate will work on-site at the Nave Center collaborating with other providers including audiologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers. This position will include providing on-site fieldwork supervision to students in ETSU's Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program. The patient population consists of pediatric clients representing a wide variety of diagnoses and conditions.

The Nave Center is an interdisciplinary, interprofessional rehabilitation clinic located in Elizabethton, TN, which serves community health care needs and educates ETSU students who are pursuing a variety of careers in the rehabilitative health sciences. The facility is a dynamic, growing clinic and the expansion of services across rehabilitation disciplines is the top priority.

The Nave Center is located within the College of Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences, which includes numerous programs including Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, Social Work, and Allied Health Sciences.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Qualifications

  • Occupational Therapy degree from an ACOTE-accredited program

  • Eligible for professional license as an occupational therapist in the state of Tennessee

  • Minimum two years of full-time equivalent clinical experience with the pediatric population

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three or more years of clinical experience with the pediatric population

  • Experience with fieldwork instruction of graduate OT students

  • Previous experience with mentorship or teaching in a professional OT program

  • Experience as an autonomous practitioner within an interprofessional practice setting

Salary $80,000.00
