Order Selectors are needed for traveling positions across the continental US. We offer competitive hourly wages, and the opportunity to work with an elite team of warehouse professionals gaining notoriety as the best value in warehouse services. Candidates must be able to travel and be available to deploy at notice for immediate travel to projects.

Selector Duties and Requirements:

Warehouse Order Selectors are responsible for building customer orders in a timely and accurate fashion. Selectors receive direction on the orders they are tasked with and are then responsible for physically lifting each case of product and stacking the product on a pallet. The Warehouse selector is required to select customer pallets and operates a double pallet jack. A representative list of duties, responsibilities, and performance expectations is as follows:

  • Promote and practice FHI's Value of safety -- always.

  • Relocate an average product case weight of approximately 20 pounds to 50 pounds from pallet to pallet.

  • You will be expected to maintain a competitive average throughput. Throughput is defined as your total cases selected by the total hours worked.

  • You will be required to maintain an aggressive quality and accuracy standard to ensure that the customer is given the highest quality service.

  • Overtime and Holiday work is mandatory.

  • Must commit to a minimum of 4 weeks on every assignment

  • Vocollect, voice selection, RF scanner experience a plus

FHI Order Selector Compensation package includes:

  • $19hr-$21hr base pay + overtime pay

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The order selector is responsible for pulling, packing and shipping orders in an accurate and timely manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for customer satisfaction through proper product quality, quantity, accuracy and proper loading to protect the product * Maintain current pulling standard. * Ensure that all products are loaded on the correct vehicle in the correct sequence. All products loaded must be transported without damage * Keep work area clean and neat at all times * Contact the supervisor immediately if there is any doubt about the quality of product * Read and understand inventory sheets * Ensure that all vehicles being loaded with power equipment have wheels chocked for safety * Strictly adhere to all safety rules * Good attendance and adherence to work schedule * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job. * Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Commitment to excellence and high standards * Acute attention to detail * Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions * Must be able to work with all levels within the organization * Ability to handle multiple tasks * Basic reading and writing skills EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * High school degree or equivalent preferred * One to two years related experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the ability to: * Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance * Walk and bend; stand for long periods of time * Wear appropriate safety equipment * Wear appropriate personal protective equipment * Work in a cooler environment – 38 degrees WORK ENVIRONMENT: A large percentage of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are cool and noise level can be moderate to high. eoe/aa/m/f/d/v Freshpoint Nashville TN
