Groundbreaking cardiac procedures at Dominican include the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) procedure, which allows for heart valve replacement without opening a patient's chest.
Dominican Hospital has forged significant partnerships with area hospitals to bring exceptional care to Santa Cruz County. The hospital offers a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through a partnership with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. ResponsibilitiesThe Obstetrical Technician/UC is responsible for supporting Registered Nurses and Providers in the MCH unit with patient care, clerical duties and other unit operations deemed as necessary. They will function as an OB tech by assisting with cesarean section, vaginal deliveries, and other procedures.
They must communicate effectively with patient care team members. Participates in the orientation of new employees and works with other members of the care team. Accountable for assigned duties in a manner that meets standards.
