In this role, you will work within a cross-functional team to engineer will be responsible for improving monitoring observability with site reliability engineering concepts. You will be engineering new technology to improve observability for logs, traces, and metrics. You may also be expected to assist developers with technical issues, planning, deployment of a variety of projects - and mentor resources.
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Jaeger, Cortex or Thanos)
Experience with Kafka and Kafka consumers
Experience with containers and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, OpenShift, Swarm, Docker compose
Experience deploying and managing monitoring tools and dashboards.
Programing knowledge in one of the following: Python, Perl, GoLang, bash
AWS or Azure experience a plus
