Position: OBIEE Lead Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Duration: 3 month contract to hire

I would search local candidates first. They will interview locals first BUT open to Skype to hire.

I would try and find candidates that would relocate to Philly but maybe not live on the west coast. The closer the better.

Position Description:
Working with Business Intelligence Analytic and Reporting Group (overall analytics and reporting functions)
architect-level knowledge of all OBIEE administrative functions, implementation models, and development styles
Day to day responsibilities: repository development; Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboard and Analytics development; migrations and merges of repositories and web catalog
Communication skills proficient- will be working heads down to start but will eventually serve to mentor other team member
Must be able to understand repository objects designed from ROLAP data models, hierarchies, levels

Required Skills:

5+ years of OBIEE experience
RPD development experience
Years of hands-on experience working on Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, Oracle OBIEE, Oracle BI Apps.
3+ years of frontend development experience
Essbase, Oracle, database experience required
Experience in creating maps/interactive dashboard catalog objects
Must have proficiency in performance tuning cubes and SQL code
OBIEE migrations and merges of repositories, web catalogs, upgrades and security configurations.
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or similar educational background

VIEW JOBS 12/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-13T00:00 The Lead Software Developer is a valued member of the Applications & Data Services – Student Collaboration Center group responsible for the development, programming, integration, testing and implementation of custom scripts and web-based and vendor developed applications/functions. These processes would be in support of our primary Student applications, Ellucian Banner Student system in an Oracle database environment and Ellucian CRM Recruit system in a Microsoft Dynamics CRM SQL database environment. The qualified candidate will be responsible for facilitating analysis and development of business process improvement for these Ellucian Student processes. The qualified candidate also provides leadership and direction to technical staff on various products and serves as expert resource and mentor to technical developer staff. Working independently or as part of a team, the qualified candidate will develop integrated, best-practice technical solutions to support departmental and university wide users. The selected candidate will be working in a university setting with exposure to multiple technologies, including PL/SQL, Workflow and Imaging, database object creation, web development (Java, .NET), Cognos Reporting, forms development, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least three years of related technical experience. Demonstrated experience with Oracle PL/SQL and/or Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Experience with enterprise-level, application development. Demonstrated experience programming with languages and tools such as XML, SQL, .NET, VB, Web Services, etc. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: * Demonstrated understanding and technical grasp of relational database design/normalization, testing methodologies and software development lifecycles. * Strong analytical, programming, interfacing and testing skills. * Demonstrated ability to elicit and document user requirements and to document completed applications. * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of management and staff. * Ability to work evenings and/or weekends, if necessary. Preferred: * Familiarity with Student application support/development. * Experience developing Java web based applications. * Exposure to JSON and JSON principles. * Knowledge in core web technologies including HTML4/5, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX. * Experience with reporting and forms applications, ie.
