We are seeking an OB Technician for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will prepare and assist with OB surgical procedures and deliveries, restock operating and delivery rooms, and check emergency equipment

• Under RN supervision, you will respond to patient call lights and provides basic patient comfort measures, such as: distributing ice chips and assisting with position changes

• You will assist physicians wit2h examinations and vaginal deliveries, and assist surgeons as a scrub technician using aseptic techniques on Cesarean sections, tubal ligations, emergency hysterectomies, and circlages and assist with sterile dressing of operative sites

• You will clean operating/ delivery rooms, removing drapes and processing used needles, supplies and washing instruments

• You will schedule cesarean sections, inductions, versions, NST's, tubal ligations, circlages and perform routine clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, ordering supplies, and staffing as required to maintain department operations

What qualifications you will need:

• High school Graduate; Previous surgical scrub experience required

• BLS Certification

• Ability to move heavy beds, gurneys and wheel chairs and stand for several hours

• Basic computer order and data entry skills
