Overview

Location: Liverpool, NY Department: Dot Transportation, Inc (DTI) Reports To: Director of Transportation

Your Role: Responsible for dispatching driver assignments and schedules, and coordinating product movements to customers, vendors, and distribution centers through the efficient use and management of company equipment, fleet, and drivers.

  • Dispatch driver assignment for all loads, inbound, outbound, and transfers

  • Adhere to all guaranteed inbound product movements, such as inbound vendor purchase orders for both Dot Foods and internal company transfers

  • Manage driver assignment for all loads, inbound and outbound

  • Assist in the coordination of product transfer to other distribution centers

  • Perform specific duties in measuring and reporting driver payroll, service levels, fleet performance, etc.

  • Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.

Role Specifics:

  • Travel Occasional overnight travel to other company facilities or outside facilities for training. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.

  • Schedule Ability to work flexible hours (weekend, night shift and on-call) based upon facility needs.

Qualifications

We Need You To Have:

  • High school diploma or general equivalency degree

  • Effective communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Effective planning, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

We'd Like You To Have:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of D.O.T., Federal and State regulations for drivers and equipment

  • Working knowledge of federal Hours Of Service regulations

  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment

This position is based in Liverpool, NY and will perform the tasks of an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). ISSOs work under the direction of the Information System Security Manager (ISSM). Candidates must be knowledgeable of information technology and security principles. This is a multi-tasking environment that demands customer service, communication, and organizational skills. This position is responsible for the following areas: 1) System level configuration and auditing to ensure integrity of the security support structure of classified systems. 2) Authoring and maintaining System Security Plans in accordance with applicable government guidance and directives. 3) Coordinating requested system changes with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), Configuration Control Board and government approvers. 4) Conducting security education training for all system users on appropriate risk mitigation strategies. 5) Continuously reviewing systems for potential vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate risk mitigation efforts. 6) Maintaining all classified computer systems in inspection-ready state at all times. 7) Investigating security incidents to include data spills, data integrity incidents, and malicious code incidents. 8) Scanning systems for STIG compliance 9) Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: 1) A DoD Secret Clearance. 2) Four to five years experience in an Information Technology/Security position 3) Excellent verbal and written communicative skills.
