Responsible for NVH Vehicle Development for Power-train NVH, Ride and Shake, Wind Noise and Operational Sound Quality
Plan, monitor and participate in required NVH testing, analyze and present results: vehicle testing on a track or chassis dynamometer, subjective analysis of noise/vibration quality, objective data analysis of noise/vibration, frequency analysis, order analysis/order tracking, modal analysis, and transfer path analysis.
BSME or 4-year degree in relevant Engineering field required.
This is a NVH Vehicle Development Engineer position, NOT CAE.
Will require driving, testing and analysis of NVH data with presentation to Management.
Full NVH Vehicle ownership from Concept to Launch.
This includes, Chassis, Wind noise, Power-train noise, Acoustic sound package, Exhaust, and Drive-line tuning.
Must be able to drive high horsepower RWD and 4WD manual transmission vehicles.
This includes driving at our client's Proving Grounds and Racetracks.
Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Must be willing and able to work extra hours as necessary to complete assignments.
MS or PhD preferred.
Experience with LMS Test-Lab, Artemis.
Hands on car / cycle racing full vehicle building or Formula SAE / Baja experience a plus.
Some travel both within the US and International can be expected.
Will be required to drive a company car.
Valid driver's license is required as well as a clean driving record.
Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
