Nutrition Team Manager
Be part of the team that is making a difference in someone's life day in and day out! In this position you will be responsible for directing the daily operations of the home delivered meals, senior dining and food pantry components of the Nutrition Program. You will also be managing field staff, monitoring food quality, and coordinating program logistics, scheduling, and vendor services. In this role you will work in collaboration with the Nutrition Department and MVES staff to enhance, expand and improve the Nutrition program.
Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt (35 hour/week) position. This position is located onsite.

Job Activities
Job activities of the position are below. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Supervise drivers and meal site coordinators.
Manage the driver schedules, payroll and time off request.
Oversee meal drop off locations to ensure accurate deliveries.
Run reports and enter data into SAMS the statewide computer program.
Visit senior dining locations and perform regular inspections.
Ordering of paper goods and monthly supplement.
Providing backup coverage for the admin team.
Organizing and running regular driver and site coordinator meetings.
Completing annual evaluations on direct reports.
Backup coverage for the drivers and meal site coordinators.
Qualifications:
BA and 2 years of relevant experience or High School diploma plus 5 years of operations and staff management experience.
Demonstrated experience as a supervisor.
Computer skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite and internet usage; familiarity with database systems and spreadsheets.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Private transportation.
Knowledge of and experience working with elders preferred.
Serve Safe certification preferred.
Elder nutrition experience preferred.
