With more than 100 years of service, Sholom offers campus-based programs in Minneapolis/St. Louis Park and St. Paul as well as community-based services across the metro area.

HOURS: 4:30-7:30pm, 12 hours a week

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nutrition Services Aide

• Homemaker performs dining services duties, including the plating of meals, snacks and nourishments for nursing staff to serve to residents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plate food in accordance with all pertinent safety and health regulations, guidelines and standards.

2. Maintain food, kitchen equipment and cooking area to ensure safety and sanitation requirements are met.

3. Facilitate kitchen-related activities for residents.

4. Comply with all regulatory sanitation requirements pertinent to the physical environment.

5. Identify and respond appropriately to emergency situations.

6. Perform miscellaneous projects and completes various tasks as requested by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of cross-training for housekeeping and food service required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED desirable.

• Six months' experience in a similar position and in a similar environment preferred.
