Job Summary

This employee is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Nutrition Solutions store with the main focus being to maintain product inventory according to customer demand, conduct product sales, fill customer orders, and assist in program activities. Achieving performance objectives will require action in one of the main areas of retail activity, store operations, and customer service. Performs food service duties to serve retail foodservice patrons following standards set by Nutrition Solutions management and complying with DHEC regulatory requirements.

Accountabilities

• Sells Nutrition Solutions products to retail patrons with a strong focus on quality and customer service. Managing point of sale areas with focus on product promoting, education, and increasing product sales. 35%
• Operates cash register in accurate and efficient manner. Responding to product questions and educating customers on nutrition information related to product with goal of product sales. 20%
• Prepares and displays product for serving and serves patrons in a courteous and friendly manner. Managing stock levels. Stocking shelves with product. Help facilitate special promotions, displays and events. 15%
• Helps maintain clean and safe environment, assists with care, maintenance and cleaning of department equipment and supplies. 10%
• Maintains department in compliance with all regulatory agencies including DHEC and internal infection prevention guidelines

• Persuading inquiries to attend information sessions about company services. Assist in assigned activities of the weight loss and nutrition programs . Organizing paperwork for store and program activity. Keeping accurate records of store sales, documents, and messaging. 10%

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Minimum Experience

1 year of retail experience, preferred

Other Required Experience

Customer service experience
