Position Summary

The Nutrition Program Coordinator (NPC) serves as the primary driver for all products and services considered part of Life Time Training's Nutrition, Metabolism and Weight Management departments. They will ensure all team members are educated in Life Time's nutrition philosophy and programs. They will mentor a team of nutrition coaches and ensure they can deliver artistry level nutrition coaching services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs member outreach and connectivity for nutrition products and services

  • Promotes and assists Life Time Training initiatives such as the 90 day Challenge, Alpha events and Black Friday offers

  • Provides monthly education to PT staff on any of the Nutrition products or services offered

  • Maintains monthly calendar of events and communicates to PT team and Regional Lead weekly

  • Completes and submits a monthly business review to PT Department Head and regional Nutrition Lead

  • Performs 1:1, partner or group nutrition coaching for members

  • Provides a variety of services such as grocery tours, healthy living classes, lab testing and nutrition coaching

Position Requirements

  • 3 months or greater tenure with Life Time Training

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Registered Dietitian, CISSN, Certified Nutrition Consultant or other considered certification

  • Personal Training Certification

  • Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design

  • Ability to operate a computer and office software, Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Kinesiology or Exercise Science

  • Experience with outpatient nutrition counseling in a fitness industry

  • Experience in product or service sales and marketing

Their findings have direct impact on Minnesota's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Payment Error rates and Case and Procedural Error Rates. The outcomes of these audits determine if Minnesota is in compliance with federal law, and if Minnesota will qualify for a performance bonus, or be liable for a fiscal penalty. This position conducts federal SNAP compliance performance measurement audits, including audits on SNAP for Group Residential Housing (GRH) program recipients, Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP), and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients, and SNAP for mixed households. Responsibilities: * Audit via SNAP acquiring, analyzing, and verifying the accuracy of information necessary to make a high level and independent decision of case accuracy * Follow established SNAP quality control audit practices * Utilize audit forms and audit tools that have been approved by the United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Services and Food and Nutrition Services 310 Manual guidance * Collaborate with Human Services Quality Control (QC) reviewers, counties, tribes, and the United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Services, and other Midwest region states * Locate and contact SNAP,GRH, MFIP, and TANF recipients to schedule an extensive interview regarding eligibility of SNAP * Insure SNAP audits comply with and satisfy the criteria for SNAP and federal SNAP performance measures * Develop and prepare data reports on the SNAP audit, interview findings, and analysis review * As part of the SNAP audit process, if fraud is found, make a referral to the appropriate county or tribal liaison Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 2 years of professional experience determining eligibility for public assistance programs. Experience must include: * Working with an Assistance program such as SNAP * Working with eligibility data base systems * Providing program and technical assistance to counties A Bachelor's degree or higher in a Human Services field with a focus on research and analysis may substitute for one year of experience.
