Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Oversees patient services including host team, tray accuracy, food quality and nutrition adherence, nourishment stocking, and other patient service areas deemed appropriate by leadership.

  • Interacts with patients and other employees in a pleasant and helpful manner with patient satisfaction in mind always.

  • Adheres to specific diets and nutritional guidelines when offering menu options to further the healing of the patient.

  • Accurately and efficiently serves each patient meal.

  • Reviews menu processing system with patients and help patients choose their food options.

  • Provides verbal menu and takes meal orders electronically from patients on assigned floors during allotted time.

  • Builds and delivers late trays.

  • Works additional tray line stations if requested by leadership.

  • Assures efficient patient food service by accurate use of the CBORD Diet Office software system.

  • Follows proper procedure during computer downtime for continuation of accurate patient meal service.

  • Communicates with nursing, dietitians, and other care providers to provide best nutritional care for patients

  • Follows all safety and sanitation standards set by hospital and nutrition department.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • High school graduate or GED

  • Basic computer skills.

  • 5+ years hospital customer service

  • Associates Degree preferred

  • Experience with patient food service and modified diets preferred

  • Bilingual preferred.

  • Registered Diet Technician preferred

Job Summary:

Responsible for oversight of diet host team and patient meal services. Responsible for patient services clerical work and patient rounding. Serves as kitchen supervisor as needed. Promotes optimal patient, guest, and interdepartmental staff relations.

VIEW JOBS 11/8/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-02-06T00:00 Overview The Team Lead for K-12 Application/Enrollment Implementation is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service by providing leadership to a highly functional Implementation Team made up of Implementation Specialists and Client Service Managers. Customer service includes meeting the daily service needs of client institutions utilizing Application/ Enrollment (A&E), SIS platform, Enterprise platform or other "stand alone" products,. The Team Lead may also lead or assist in special projects related to the Operations Department, as needed. Responsibilities Daily supervision and leadership of an Implementation team including: coaching, development, goal setting, time card approval, performance management, hiring, discipline, compensation recommendations and review. Perform audit functions related to institution profile set up and team member work. Provide support, as part of an overall Implementation team, to an institution which is implementing one or more SIS products/services. Build the initial relationship with an institution and preface the customer service experience which the customer can expect throughout their relationship with NBS. Provide excellent customer service to new and existing client institutions utilizing NBS System and/or other services/products via the telephone, email, or formal written correspondence. Facilitate business calls to introduce points of contact and discuss issues to ensure proper implementation, answering specific questions and/or finding the appropriate resources to do so. Discuss best business practices with institutions to guide A&E implementation and their own internal processes. Discuss and offer suggestions to clients on system requirements and enhancements. Communicate the tasks of other departments to ensure the proper implementation of the institution. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate information and to provide an opportunity for team members to communicate ideas and enhance skills. Communicate updates in system/procedures or product offerings to team members and/or external clients. Cultivate and foster open lines of communication with respective sales team members and all other areas within the organization. Provide written report of team member activities and other special projects to Director of Value-Added Services on a monthly basis. Maintain team project tracking and metrics analysis for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting. Successfully coordinate the implementation of products by determining the necessary points of contact for the school and ensuring that product setups are completed based on the school profile. Assist A&E Implementation team members in resolving service or product related issues that may arise as identified by CSMs, Implementation Specialists, Regional Vice Presidents or Client Institutions. Contribute to the development and maintenance of training materials and assist with the training of new team members. Assist with continuous process improvement and initiatives to advance the organization. Lead or assist in special projects or with other Operations teams as needed. Qualifications EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in a business related field or equivalent experience. EXPERIENCE: Two years previous lead or supervisory experience in a customer service environment is preferred. Three years prior detailed customer service experience. COMPETENCIES - SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with customers, team members, and business contacts in a professional manner. Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills. Ability to multi-task and complete projects under high-pressure deadlines. Ability to lead and motivate Implementation Team members. Strong analytic and problem solving skills. General computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, e-mail, Internet, SIS, and Enterprise. Product specific knowledge in FACTS SIS and other business applications. Ability to remain productive under conditions where interruptions are prevalent. Ability to handle stressful situations and meet deadlines. Strong initiative to get tasks and objectives completed without supervision.
