Position Summary

The Nutrition Coach is part of the Personal Training Team which is responsible for providing various group and individual nutritional services that offers members a program to monitor caloric intake, increase metabolism, build muscle mass and improve overall sense of well being. They market, promote, and implement individual and group Life Time Fitness nutritional education programs and products that will compliment exercise programs. They are responsible for scheduling and completing record keeping according to standard operating procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs individual dietary analysis, meal planning and menu development

  • Develop safe, professional, and comprehensive nutritional programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals

  • Leads and facilitates health and wellness educational seminars

  • Works closely with Personal Training staff and club management when designing member programs and classes

  • Educates members on health and wellness issues and trends

  • Oversees sales performance, including program quality, supply costs, and pricing integrity

  • Develops a client base to meet monthly revenue and session goals

  • Uses all required safety devices and personal protection equipment to comply with company safety rules

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Nutrition or a related field

  • Registered Dietician Certification

  • CPR and AED Certified

  • Knowledge of dietetics and how to adapt knowledge to practical use in conjunction with exercise programs

  • Knowledge of dietary analysis software

  • Stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of Food Processor by ESHA Research

  • Degree in Nutrition or a related field

They Identify internal control gaps in business procedures, processes or systems, and initiate appropriate remedial action. They will also ensure that documentation for all processes across the organization are reviewed and updated periodically. Key Responsibilities Include: * Work collaboratively with department managers to identify and document key controls, including narratives, flow charts and matrices, and evaluate the effectiveness of the control design. Promote ownership of processes, controls, and control assessments to the business owners. * Advise on the design and implementation of additional/revised controls to mitigate risk and remediate control deficiencies or design gaps. * Support business owners in coordination and completion of self-testing activities. * Conduct internal control testing to support the internal control system. * Make recommendations to improve procedures and controls; discuss findings and recommendations with appropriate level of management during testing. * Prepare and evaluate work papers to substantiate control findings. * Maintain the Internal Control Documentation SharePoint site to ensure all information is updated and easily accessible by employees. * Analyze internal control systems for proposed changes in accounting and information technology process changes to ascertain their effect on internal controls. * Assist the company's independent public accounting firm in the completion of their audit examinations, including audit work and testing. * Assist with the training and education of business personnel on the internal control framework and where to find documentation. * Assists with other duties as directed by supervisor. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; MBA or MSA preferred. * Minimum 3 years in public accounting and/or Sarbanes-Oxley experience required. * CPA, CIA or CICA certification preferred.
