Schedule: Full-time; 3-12 hour shifts per week. Occasional weekends needed.

The role you'll contribute:

Assists the healthcare team in coordinating, prioritizing, and communicating patient, physician and staff needs. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Greets patients/visitors in the emergency department and directs/escorts to the desired location.+ Triages patient call lights in a timely manner.+ Communicates with patient, family members, visitors, physicians, and associates in a professional and caring manner.+ May be tasked with conducting patient rounds throughout the shift to inquire about patients'/visitors' needs as well as orienting them to the unit and patient room.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS through American Heart Association must be obtained before start date
