Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Performs basic skills per hospital/unit guidelines and communicates observations to members of the health care team.
This is a full time night position with the expectation of working 72 hours every two weeks. This position utilizes core scheduling.
An employee will be hired into a permanent schedule that repeats every 6 weeks. The days and hours are already preset and cannot be permanently changed to accommodate a personal or school schedule. This schedule will not have the ability to drop below 72 hours per pay period. However, there is opportunity to trade shifts with other employees or take PTO when a day off is needed.
Successful completion of Nursing Technician orientation. Orientation is mandatory and done full time during the day Monday through Friday and the following Monday and Tuesday.
