Covenant Health is seeking a full time Nursing Supervisor with the Cath Lab at Covenant Medical Center.
Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, the performance of assigned staff, and unit management. Assists with responsibility 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, for designated clinical area(s) to meet the needs of the patient. Works closely with Department Manager to ensure continuity of care across the continuum. Minimal supervision required.
Demonstrates knowledge, judgment and organizational abilities to meet the needs of the patients served.
Assists in setting expectations, developing plans, and managing the process to assess, improve, and maintain the quality of the organization's governance, management, clinical, and support activities.
Assumes responsibility for assisting in determining staff competency through on-going evaluation of performance.
Maintains a responsible attitude toward appropriate and efficient management within the department.
Provides support for staffs continued education.
Facilitates staff attendance at meetings.
Maintains a committed and cooperative attitude with all departments in the organization.
Meets all expectations of RN Staff position description.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Education: Candidates must meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas.
Experience: 2 years Clinical experience
