As an Emergency Department (ED) Nursing Shift Manager at Crozer, you will provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care by coordinating patient care, and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families. You must respond quickly and accurately to changes in volume and acuity, within the ED, to ensure constant safe care is delivered, while maintaining throughput.

#1 year of Behavioral Health experience

Responsibilities
Direct shift over-sight of 44 bed ED.
Level II Adult Trauma Center.
Primary Stroke Center.
Primary PCI Center
Delegation of shift assignments/staff responsibilities for each shift.
Crisis management situations.
EMS Notification calls.
Maintaining a safe patient care environment.
Ensuring staff accountability.
Maintaining throughput within the ED & also to in-patient areas.
Direct communication with multidisciplinary team.
ED Attending.
ED residents.
Nursing Supervision.
EMS
Security.
Nursing Administrator on Call (NAOC).
Requirements
      BSN preferred.
      Current PA RN License
      BCLS certification
1 year of Behavioral Health experience
3 years relevant clinical experience
Charge Nurse experience preferred.
