Position#Summary Provides quality nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Works within the guidelines of established practice for the Patient Care Assistant at HMC.

Qualifications Minimum Education:

Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required:

None License, Registry or Certification: Required: Required currently enrolled in nursing school and have completed the first clinical semester course (Nursing Fundamentals). CPR certification is required. Crisis Prevention (CPI) training is required, and must be renewed annually.

If not certified upon hire, must obtain certification within 6 months. CPI Course will be provided at Hunterdon. Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required:

Normal basic patient care equipment, wheelchairs and stretchers. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
