Nursing Informatics' goal is to bring new knowledge to the bedside by integrating the most current technology with MSKCC nursing practice. We are committed to providing access for our nurses to current, evidence-based, and creative ideas and technologies that will enable us to deliver the highest quality of cancer care possible.
As a member of the Nursing Informatics team, the Nursing Informatics Specialist (NIS) is an advanced degree informatics nurse with a consistent track record of leading and implementing successful clinical information system projects.

Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple clinical system projects in different phases of the systems development lifecycle.
Provides leadership in the coordination of information technology and healthcare activities.
Collaborate in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to nursing practice and clinical information systems and clinical informatics competencies.
New York State RN License
Master's in Nursing (MSN)
Board certification in Nursing Informatics required
Clinical systems implementation required
Hours: Days, Monday-Friday & flexible as needed during implementations.
