As a member of MI, you'll work collaboratively with our client project teams, providing end-to-end support to ensure the clients are able to deliver and sustain the full benefits of McKinsey's recommended change in their business.

You will help clients build capabilities in delivery and execution, both during an active project and continuing after our consultants have shared their recommendations.

Focused on hospital operations engagements, you will draw on your nursing experience to lead clients through hospital operation improvements such as case management operations, scheduling, customer experience, etc.

Your primary long-term projects will be closely related to our traditional projects and will provide clients with decisive support in the introduction and implementation of strategic consulting concepts in lean manufacturing, service, and supply chain management.

You will engage at a deep level across our clients' businesses, working in small McKinsey teams, but often working with many clients, to build the capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results with an aim to ensure those results will be sustained. Our work is about coaching and delivering lasting outcomes.

  • BSN degree; advanced degree preferred

  • 2+ years of clinic or hospital based nursing experience and experience that includes some of the following: utilization management, workforce planning, case management, patient workflow, decision support.

  • Experience with change management/performance improvement efforts

  • Superior problem solving and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated experience and a passion for coaching or mentoring clients

  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively

  • Comfort with extensive travel (4-5 days/week)

The Role The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Enterprise Solutions group, part of the broader Innovation Group at Wells Fargo, was formed in early 2017 with the mandate to enable the enterprise to leverage the full capabilities of AI for delivering insightful and personalized experiences for customers and team members, driving greater operational efficiency, and better managing risk. The AI Enterprise Solutions team, will support several lines of businesses (LOB) to help them realize their business cases and the best value for their needs by building sophisticated AI models using the state-of-the-art data science techniques. We are looking for dynamic, result driven and knowledgeable AI Implementation Lead Consultants who can drive implementation of AI solutions in an ever changing AI ecosystem who also have great passion for machine learning that allows software applications to become significantly more accurate in predicting outcomes without being explicitly programmed while leveraging vast amount of data. We are seeking two AI Implementation Lead Consultants to: * Lead AI Ingestion and Data Science on-boarding activities dedicated to our broad specific Areas of Focus * In liaising with our Data Scientists, provide help with Data Science Solution Design * Provide detailed Program reporting on AI Ingestion activities * Lead AI Data Discovery sessions providing subject matter expertise on AI Ingestion and Data Science on-boarding * Participate in per-discovery and post-discovery Design Thinking sessions * Help our LOB's with on-boarding their AI ideas and existing models and to work on qualifying them further through the model development lifecycle (MDLC) * Be the single point of contact for LOB and act as a liaison with enterprise IT partners * Develop, compile and discuss model requirements with all pertinent parties * Work with data scientists, platform, Data lake, Architecture and infrastructure teams to ensure the model requirements are fully understood and implemented * Hold regular model pipeline meetings * Provide regular KPI reports for LOB and wider AI teams. * Provide regular model development metrics and checkpoints in order to accelerate the speed of development and influence strategic decisions. * Drive model development activities from inception to fruition * Help with various training activities * Work closely with Model Business Analysts to ensure of solid business and functional requirements, scalability, reuse and repeatability of models in advance of model implementation Required Qualifications * 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Business Analytics/Insights, or Digital Products/Program Management Desired Qualifications * Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important * Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment * Strong collaboration and partnering skills * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills * Experience navigating through ambiguity Other Desired Qualifications * Ability to serve as an Implementation/Program Lead managing matrix relationships and providing leadership to more junior team members * Familiar with all aspects of AI/machine learning technology * Good understanding of Big Data and related Data lake technologies * Working Knowledge of AI and machine learning model development lifecycles * Demonstrated experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Text Analytics * Experience collaborating with Data Scientists, technology partners, and line of business stakeholders to implement Machine Learning or NLP capabilities * Ability to tailor communication style to audience * Strong PowerPoint and Visio skills * Ability to learn quickly, show depth of understanding * Previous product operations role preferably in Analytics or AI, will potentially consider digital product operations as well * Experience eliciting and writing user stories and epics * Ability to provide regular model development metrics and KPI reports * Ability to work closely with Model Business Analysts to ensure the elicitation of business and functional requirements, scalability, reuse and repeatability of models in advance of model implementation Job Expectations * Ability to travel up to 20% of the time Street Address CA-SF-Financial District: 333 Market St - San Francisco, CA NC-Charlotte: 301 S Tryon St - Charlotte, NC Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
