The Nursing Department at Misericordia University is currently accepting applications for full-time (10 month) non-tenure track faculty position as an assistant professor for our Dallas, PA campus beginning August 15, 2023. This position will include didactic, lab and/or clinical teaching in undergraduate and/or graduate programs. This is not a remote position; an on-campus presence is required.
Qualifications: A Masters degree in nursing is required, doctorate strongly preferred. Other qualifications include:
Current unencumbered Pennsylvania RN license
CRCRNP license with current national board certification in area of practice
Post-secondary teaching experience in nursing
Experience overseeing students in clinical practice settings
Experience teaching nursing students in lab and/or simulation preferred
The Misericordia University Nursing Departments (undergraduate and graduate) are fully accredited by CCNE. Undergraduate programs include a traditional BSN, Part-time evening BSN, and ABSN.
Graduate programs include preparation for Family Individual Across the Life Span Nurse Practitioners and Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioners via the MSN, BSN-DNP or Post-Masters Certificate. There is also a DNP program for practicing APRN's.
