University of Utah Health is seeking a new Nursing Director of Critical Care, AirMed, and Emergency Nursing!
This nursing leadership position is based at the University Hospital, and collaborates on nursing operations and strategy with the Senior Nursing Director of Critical Care, AirMed, and Emergency Nursing.
Our ideal Nursing Director candidate has at least:
Five years of progressive management experience,
A Bachelor's Degree in related field, and
A Current RN license (BSN)
This position directs the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all internal operations of assigned clinical departments. This includes the planning and business objectives, budgetary information, human resource and financial management operations of assigned departments. The incumbent acts as a catalyst between the department and its customers, and staff, to ensure continuity and quality of service and care. This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law.

Knowledge of hospital business operations and demonstrated strategic planning skills.
Knowledge of budgeting practices, reporting analysis and forecasting.
