Schick Shadel Hospital is seeking Nursing Care Specialist (RN) to assist with the administration of patient care of the Rehab area in accordance with physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques and hospital policies. Responsible for performing and completing all new patients' admission assessments and treatment plans. Implementation of infection control programs, and assist with the scheduling of the nursing staff.

Some duties include the following:
Identifies patient special needs of assigned patients.
Perform nursing activities which promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the patient
Keep accurate and complete record of nursing care.
Implementation and educational support of the hospital Infection Control practices.
Participates in orientation of new nursing personnel.
Schedules nursing staff to deliver required nursing services and adjusts schedule based upon patient acuity and daily census.
Is a registered nurse with a current Washington State license.
Possess skills in acceptable standards of nursing practice.
Computer savvy. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Has an interest in the field of substance abuse.
