All regular credentialing fees and application fees are paid for by Prestige.

Classes typically run Monday-Friday 8 am- 2:30 pm and clinical hours are from 6 am-2 pm.

Job Summary:

The attributes required of a Nursing Assistant Candidate is to provide care and concern for those who may be unable to physically or mentally care for themselves. They must possess patience, empathy and unwavering compassion for people.

Practice and "hands-on" supervised training. After completion of the Nursing Assistant Class, you will be eligible for employment consideration to be hired as a Nursing Assistant, you must be able to provide legal documentation establishing your identity and eligibility to be legally employed in the United States, employment references, and be at least 18 years of age.

Essential Functions:

The primary responsibility of a student that is selected for the NA Class is to acquire the knowledge, skills and certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA) by participation in the facility's planned educational program. This program consists of classroom and clinical instructions. Upon completion of the NA program a student is prepared to take the state examination in order to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.


  • Able to attend all class and clinical sessions held within a 5-6 week period.

  • Be willing to undergo a criminal background.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

In this position you will: * Provide a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff. * Adhere to the Service Excellence Standards of Behavior guidelines at all times. * Have comprehensive knowledge of, and be compliant with, specified regulatory requirements, and food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment. * Follow proper sanitation procedures and practices to assure the cleanliness and sanitation of ware-washing, service-ware, equipment in the work area. * Adhere to County/State Health department, hospital, and department standards, policies and procedures at all times. Patient Dining Food Service Assistant Role: * Provide attractive nutritious meals to patients by timely and accurate assembly of food trays. * Deliver meal carts to designated nursing units in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner. * Operate dish machine, prepare food and beverages following safe food handling and sanitation practices and procedures. Retail Dining and Barista Food Service Assistant Role: * Provide courteous, friendly customer service to all employees, visitors and physicians. * Provide excellent services, in taking phone or verbal order, preparing food and beverage per request and serving each customer. * Merchandise and set up food service areas. * Stock and clean service, dining and production areas. * Operate cash register, bus tables, prepare food, operate dish machine, and provide espresso coffee service.
