This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Patrick B.

Harris Psychiatric Hospital, 130 SC-252, Anderson, SC 29621. Under direct supervision of licensed nursing personnel, you will perform routine and specialized patient care duties to adult patients, ages 18 and above, in a designated clinical area. A Nursing Assistant (Non-Certified) at the Department of Mental Health should be knowledgeable in age-specific criteria and interventions appropriate for effective and therapeutic intervention with adult psychiatric patients including those who have diverse backgrounds, disabilities and co-occurring disorders.

This job posting is intended to fill any vacant Nursing Assistant (Non-Certified) position(s) within Harris Psychiatric Hospital. Multiple Vacancies Minimum and Additional Requirements State Minimum Requirements : A high school diploma or GED. Agency Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED and some health care related experience. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Additional Comments This position works either 7:00AM-3:30PM, 3:00PM-11:30PM or 11:00PM-7:30AM including rotating weekends, with the greatest need being evening and night shifts. A bility to stand, walk, reach, pull, stoop, bend and climb at least two (2) or three (3) flights of stairs. Ability to consistently lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
