Additional stipend earned per hour for an every weekend position!
Position available includes working every weekend and every other holiday

Location Information
We have four senior communities in New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview and Woodbury that are rich with thoughtful amenities and support. Our compassionate services also reach seniors living in the broader Twin Cities area through home care, outpatient therapies and wellness programs.
Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.
Responsibilities:
The Nursing Assistant performs a variety of resident related direct care duties, such as transporting, transferring, toileting, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming residents, encouraging highest level of independence, and validating residents' concerns.
Qualifications
Education: Successful completion of a State approved program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act. Must be registered with the State of Minnesota.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests, & abilities
Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Working knowledge of personal computers and related software
Ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgments
Dependability, with the ability to follow direction
Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job
