The Nursing Assistant I/II/III is a key member of the nursing care team and assists with direct and indirect patient care, provide basic nursing care, and support to patients and health care team members. Under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse (RN), and the Nursing Assistant I/II/II helps in providing interventions that are prescribed by the treatment plan.
Shares accountability for quality patient outcomes. This role can also provide administrative clinical support for their department.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of previous direct patient care experience required
And/or completion of one year of RN school from an approved ADN or BSN program.Licensure/Certificates:Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and/or EMT preferred but not requiredBLS or Heart Saver with AED must be obtained within 6 months from date of hire
