Nursing Assistant at Providence St. Mary Medical Center, Walla Walla, WA

The Nursing Assistant Registered performs assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN. Working with a preceptor and assuming increased responsibility during the residency, the Nursing Assistant Registered supports nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quiet, clean, organized environment using care delivery. Key functions and specific skills for this job are found in the unit specific onboarding checklist and in the Standards of Practice and competencies for nursing assistants.

Available types of positions include:

  • 30 hours per week, 12-hour Day shift, Part-time
  • 30 hours per week, 12-hour Variable shift, Part-time
  • 36 hours per week, 12-hour Day shift, Full-time

Required qualifications:

  • Washington Nursing Assistant Registered within 30 days of hire.

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a pre-licensure nursing assistant program
