Responsibilities

  • Provide activities of daily living for all patients to include but not limited to: bathing, oral care, bowel elimination assistance, foley care, wound care, dressing changes, taking/recording of vital signs, hourly outputs, and point of care testing.

  • Perform daily calibrations and quality controls on all point of care laboratory equipment and record values as required.

  • Transport patients in the assigned units to and from radiology, cath lab, interventional radiology, and other trips off of the respective unit/ward/clinic.

  • Provide nursing support such as: answering phones, answering/sending faxes, transferring and admitting patients to and from the critical care section, scanning all consent forms and other documents into patients' charts.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.

Specialized experience is defined as: assisting care providers during examinations, procedures, or treatments; assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs); and providing administrative support (i.e. answering phones and or faxes, patient transfers or admissions, ordering supplies, maintaining patient records or charts). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04).

Education Substitution for Specialized Experience for GS-05: Successful completion of at least a full four-year course of study above high school leading to a bachelor's degree with courses related to the occupation.

Combination of Experience and Education Substitution for Specialized Experience for GS-05: If you have some, but not all, of the experience or education described above, you may still qualify by combining the amount of creditable experience and education that you possess. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of undergraduate education in excess of 60 hours (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.

Under the I2TS 3 task order, INSCOM ensures reliable, uninterrupted availability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) including: networks, hardware, software, engineering, and specialized tools at the point of customer need to support INSCOM's mission. INSCOM and its MSCs provide the enabling layer to connect the Army and its tactical formations to defense and national intelligence agencies via tactical networks. The ability to provide mission critical intelligence is dependent on the successful use of its information technology (IT) networks worldwide. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: An I2TS 3 Cybersecurity Officer will: * Plan and coordinate the IT security programs and policies. Obtain C&A for systems under their purview. Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program.
