The Nursing Department is seeking qualified applicants who wish to become part of this dynamic and creative team to serve our students as Nursing Adjunct Instructors for the Fall 2024 semester. These are part-time, non-benefited positions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Instructors are needed for the following areas:
RN Didactic Adjunct Instructor
To teach Mental Health Concepts in the ASRN program. This position is responsible for creating and delivering lectures, learning activities, and exams to help student meet the course and program learning outcomes. The ideal candidate would also be available to teach in the clinical setting.
Experience in mental health or psychiatric nursing required. Prior teaching in higher education preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required, MSN preferred.
Class meets in person 3 hours a week (one day).
Clinical Resource Registered Nurse (CRRN)
To teach in the clinical setting for Mental Health (RN) in our nursing program.
Responsibilities include oversite and instruction to nursing students providing direct patient care to hospitalized clients in the behavioral health clinical setting.
Part-time (8-16 hours/week), hourly rate, non-benefitted
Minimum Qualifications
Unencumbered Montana RN license. BSN required. Two years minimum RN clinical experience. Experience in mental health setting required for didactic instructor position.
Salary Information
Didactic Instructor position--$750 per credit for this 4-credit course.
CRRN clinical instructor--$33.90-$36.90 per hour depending on education and experienc.
