Job Summary
This position will work collaboratively with the program coordinator and fellow nursing fauclty to coordinate student success in the classroom, clinical, and campus laboratory settings by utilizing student support and retention activities.
Job Duties:
Including, but not limited to, facilitate student success through student engagement to include concept review, study strategies, and skills performance, collect data to assist in program retention, and collaborate with the WKCTC Student Success Center in the implementation of best practices for student success.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing with completion of MSN within three years of hire. Current, unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. In addition, the individual must have 2+ years of experience as a registered nurse within the immediate past five years, 3-5 years of experience in nursing education or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's in Nursing preferred.
Additional Skills Requested:
Must be proficient is the use of computer technology, including databases, and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
