Responsibilities
Break Relief Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry
Our Cardiac Telemetry unit is a 30 bed unit with all private rooms. The unit is designed to promote a quiet calm atmosphere and a healing environment. The unit features include ceiling lifts pneumatic tube system and all new equipment. RNs Nursing Assistants Unit Assistants and Monitor Techs care for a cardiac population with arrhythmias pre/post cardiac intervention (with sheath removals) and pre/ post op Cardiac Surgical patients.
The incumbent provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally.

Qualifications
This position is designed to break the nurses for lunches and breaks during the 6.5 hour shift from: 1000 - 1630.
Minimum:
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
One (1) year of experience as an RN within an acute care hospital required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Other certifications may be required
