NURSE TECH PROGRAM - SUMMER 2020# Accepting applications for the STPH Nurse Tech Program,#starting#Summer of 2020.##We are looking for R.N. nursing students interested in working on a PRN (as needed) basis#to float to#various clinical units and provide care as Nursing Assistants, Patient Sitters and/or Transporters.

Interviewing for this position will begin in February, 2020. Summary of the Job: Performing routine, non-complex patient care delegated by the nursing staff.

Minimum Qualifications: Currently#enrolled in an NLN accredited Registered Nurse program, in good standings and completed their first hospital-based clinical rotation by Summer 2020. BLS through the American Heart Association must be current.


Nursing students hired will be required to present documentation from their school validating active enrollment in good standing and


#the status in their program.#Please provide a clinical instructor as one of your references on the application.


Availability:


Must be available to work 12-hour#day, evening and/or night shifts, as needed by Nursing. Prefer applicants who are available to work one shift each week in a 6-week schedule, with at least 2 of those shifts being on the weekend and/or a holiday.

Rate = $12.00/hour + shift differentials, weekend and holiday pay. Physical Demands:##### Must possess good physical health.# Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time.# Lifting at least 50 pounds is required.# Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
