The Nursing Supervisor performs nursing duties and makes management decisions in accordance with hospital policy procedure and supervises other nursing personnel who are responsible for patient care during an 8-12 hour period. The Nursing Supervisor is a proficient nurse who has chosen the management tract.
This nurse has general knowledge of nursing practice and takes responsibility for the development and nurturing of self. This individual serves as a resource person for nursing and other hospital departments and must be able to set priorities. This position will include accountability for maintaining high standards of patient care throughout the hospital. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating the nursing care provided in the hospital utilizing the nursing process.
Education:

Experience:
Two years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
Licenses and Certifications
Georgia Registered Nurse License or Multistate License
Healthcare Provider (CPR)
12 Hour Nightshift 1900 to 0730. (3) 12-hour shifts. Will work rotating weekends.
