The primary purpose of the Walter B. Jones Center Woodside Treatment Center Day Supervisor is to administratively and clinically supervise the Division of Nursing Services and the assigned staff, under the direction of the WBJ Center Chief Nursing Officer. The administration of the Woodside Treatment Center's Nursing Services is accomplished through the coordinated efforts of the Day Shift Supervisor, Assistant Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer.
Job responsibilities include:
Significant managerial or programmatic responsibility essential to the successful operation of the WBJ Woodside Treatment Center and the WBJ Opioid Treatment Program.
The daily responsibility of managing, supervising, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the Nursing Division provided within WBJ Woodside Treatment Center.
Assure the quality of care delivered throughout the Hospital.
Salary Grade: MH18
Position will be assigned to WBJ Center Woodside Treatment Center, position is typically scheduled 8:00 am
5:00 pm, Monday
Friday,rotating to meet objectives, on call and facility needs.
About the Walter B. Jones Center:
The Walter B. Jones Center operates two adult inpatient treatment programs on site in Greenville, NC: (1) Woodside Treatment Center and (2) Lakeside Psychiatric Hospital. The primary purpose and mission of the Walter B. Jones Center is "To provide inpatient treatment, psychiatric stabilization and medical detoxification for individuals with mental health, substance use and other co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses for ongoing community based treatment and recovery". The Center is accredited by the Joint Commission and SAMHSA/CSAT. Two specialty programs are offered to all 100 NC Counties: (1) Inpatient Opioid Treatment for adults and (2) Inpatient Perinatal Services for women in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters with substance use disorders. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of nursing experience.
Degrees must be from appropriately accredited college or universities

Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus
Qualified applicants must be selected from the candidate pool of this posting and meet the State policy following requirements:
A newly hired permanent full time or permanent part-time employee who works 30 to 40 hours per week is eligible for a sign-on bonus (this will be prorated for employees working less than 40 hours per week).
An employee is not eligible for a sign-on bonus if:
(1) the employee has held a position in North Carolina State government, including the judicial system, or the University of North Carolina system within the last 12 months (the employee shall remain ineligible for 12 months from the separation date);
(2) the employee has previously received a sign-on bonus from any State agency;
(3) or DHHS has paid any contract placement or recruitment fees.
