Nurse Staff RN Clinic-(100% Fulltime, Days)- Adena ENT

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient's plan of care; while creating an atmosphere that supports our mission to care, to heal, to educate. The Staff Nurse, RN as the primary care giver provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Required Educational Degree:

Graduate of an Accredited Program

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses:

BLS, ACLS, NIH within 90 days of hire and yearly. EKG course, code violet all should be required within 6 months of hire. RN - Registered Nurse with Current Ohio License; CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Unit Specific Requirements AOSI 4W

Preferred Experience:

3-5 years Nursing Experience;

Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes and accurately completes all documentation.

• Education, Professional Practice Evaluation and Research: attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice and evaluates one's own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statues and regulations. Integrates research findings into practice. Keeps current on knowledge within scope of practice. Chapter 4723-4 Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) requires the RN to maintain current knowledge of the duties, responsibilities and accountabilities for practicing within their respective scopes of practice and for safe nursing practice.
