Nurse Services Supervisor 2 is responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the nursing unit. The position is a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities. The Administrative Nurse II reports to the Unit Director as an expert clinical leader and role model of clinical best practices. Experienced professional who provides direct clinical supervision to professional and technical staff. Participates in establishing clinical departmental goals and objectives. Manages the accountability and stewardship of human, financial, and often physical resources to facilitate coordinated and quality patient care in compliance with departmental and organizational goals and objectives. Functions with high autonomy and shares 24/7 management responsibility with the Unit Director.
Salary Range: $105,200 - $250,600

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:
Current valid California RN license required
BSN and Masters degree required
Five years recent acute nursing experience with progressive leadership roles required
PTU/PACU, Operating Room, Procedural Unit, or Pain Management experience required
BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
ACLS from the American Heart Association required
Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
Nursing Professional Leadership designation or willing to obtain in 12 months
