Under the supervision of the Camp Director, to be the health manager for the camp; supervise health and cleanliness standards; and help provide adequate physical health conditions for all.
Set up system for health screening for arriving campers and staff.
Conduct inventory of medical supplies and place order when necessary, ensuring timely arrival of supplies.
Participate in and lead specific areas of staff training pertaining to camp health and safety, CPR, first aid, and use of universal precautions for infection control.
Monitor/evaluate camp procedures, facilities and conditions and suggest modifications that create healthful conditions in camp.
Licensed in New Jersey state as an EMT, LPN, PA, RN
Experience with children and young adults desirable in school, public health, and pediatric nursing
Ability to originate, update, and/or monitor health care, maintain records, and implement the health care plan
Current CPR and first aid certifications
Self-motivated, responsible an independent worker, and organized
