All recent RN graduates and nurses with less than one year of experience can now begin their career at D-H through our inpatient Nurse Residency Program (NRP). This is a paid, comprehensive program specifically designed to meet the unique needs of today's new nurses. The program incorporates an orientation which focuses on the skills and knowledge base required for nursing in D-H's academic, acute care environment. Using our state of the art Simulation Center and varied clinical rotations, nurses will strengthen their assessment, critical thinking and clinical skills.
The following units will be participating: 3 West (Orthopedics), 4 West (General Vascular Surgery), Medical Specialties-1 East and 2&3 East, Neuro (5 West), and Neuro Special Care Unit (NSCU).To be considered for our 2019 Nurse Residency Programs, you must submit a completed application packet. A completed packet includes:

A detailed letter of introduction to include the clinical rotation that you found most interesting, where you completed your clinical rotations, externships, internships and/or senior practicum if applicable and your top two or three areas of clinical interest;

Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) is required.
Licensed Registered Nurse in New Hampshire required.
