VALLEY VIEW IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR OUR ANCC ACCREDITED (PTAP) NURSE RESIDENCY JULY 2019 COHORT
We have the following full-time Nurse Residency Positions available:
RN Acute Care - Med/Surg
RN Family Birth Place
RN Surgery Applicants applying for the RN Surgery Nurse Resident position, must have previous experience in Surgery, either prior to becoming a nurse or during your nursing clinicals, along with a desire to pursue a career in the Surgical setting.
As an RN Nurse Resident, you will be employed as a full-time benefited employee, supported by a network of nurses who work alongside you as teachers, preceptors, and mentors. Upon successful completion of the Nurse Resident Program, you will be prepared to successfully transition into the role of a Professional Registered Nurse.
The RN Nurse Resident will sign an agreement to work full-time as an RN with Valley View for 2 years, following completion of orientation on your assigned unit.
Valley View supports nurses working at the top of their licensure, so if the Nurse Resident is currently an ADN, the Nurse will work with the Director of Staff Development to advance their degree to a BSN within an agreed upon time frame. Valley View has a tuition assistant program and scholarship options that may help with costs.
This RN Nurse Residency Program will start in July, 2019. Applicants must have obtained a Colorado RN license by July 1, 2019.
Recent Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Obtain Colorado RN license, or ability to obtain, by July 1st, 2019.
Must have no prior RN work experience.
Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
