Providence is calling a Nurse Quality Supervisor to support our Infectious Disease and Endocrinology clinics (1.0 FTE, Days) at Providence St. Vincent Medical Office Building East Pavillion in Portland, OR.
In this position, you will:
Be an integral member of the clinic leadership team in bringing the professional nursing perspective and expertise to the group and upholding the standards of clinical practice.
Be responsible for the oversight of clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, developing, and implementing clinical best practices.
Be responsible for the oversight and supervision of clinical quality, ensuring state and federal compliance and clinical support patient care services are provided in an efficient and safe manner that is consistent with clinical best practices.
Provide direct patient care at top of Registered Nurse (RN) scope of practice, according to the individualized needs of the patient using the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
Coordinate patient care activities with other members of the health care team in a collegial relationship.
Analyze patient data with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, spiritual and chronological maturation process.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate nursing degree with 3 years recent RN experience
Current unencumbered license as a RN in the state of Oregon
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS) for Healthcare Provider
3-5 years RN experience managing complex patient's
