We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join an Urgent Care Clinic in southwest New Mexico. This clinic is supported by the local regional medical center and offers modern facilities, up to date electronic medical records and on-site laboratory and X-Ray.

Job Duties and Qualifications
General duties include examining patients, diagnosing patients' medical issues, referring patients to appropriate outside treatment programs, prescribing medications to treat various ailments, suturing, . The work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday from 8am to 4pm. The providers work 12 hour shifts and rotate weekend hours.. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience working in urgent care and be comfortable treating all age patients, have a current New Mexico license and DEA.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have by date of hire and maintain current throughout employment: * New Mexico Board of Nursing license with certification as a Nurse Practitioner or as a Clinical Nurse Specialist / Family Practice or Certification from the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners. * DEA license * New Mexico Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) * Medicare PIN and UPIN numbers * Medicaid Number * Have or be able to obtain BLS/CPR or ACLS certification within 30 days of hire. If you are assigned to a center with ACLS medications and/or equipment, you must have ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
