Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work in collaboration with a care team of MD's, NP/PAs, consultants, and allied health staff. The NP or PA will be an integral member of our Dermatology practice covering a full range of medical services and minor office procedures for patients with dermatologic disorders and diseases. Graduated training in assigned facets will be provided.

Provision of care may include, but is not limited to, comprehensive assessment, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosis, prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments, administration of non-pharmacological therapies, minor office procedure, and patient education.

Qualifications

3 - 5 years of Dermatology experience required.

Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current WI RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP or ANP required.

Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the WI State Board of Medical Practice.

Additional Qualifications:

Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain BLS certification. Must hold or be eligible for DEA registration.
